I retired in September 2024, immediately spent a month in Australia and New Zealand, then spent entirely too much time the next couple months being president of the condo board. In December we visited Santa Fe, NM, for the first time and by January 2025 were actively working on moving here.

We spent most of our time from then until May selling our condo, dealing with some other property, finding a place in Santa Fe, packing up, and actually moving. Now, finally, in May 2025 we’re in Santa Fe and starting to figure out what it looks like to actually be retired.

This site is very much a work in progress, in its first days. Almost all the effort is going into the photography section for a while.
